what if roses were ugly
what if the sun was cold
what if air was costly
what if lions weren't bold;
what if the sky was on the ground
what if diamonds were cheap
what if nothing could make a sound
what if humans couldn't sleep;
what if Nigeria was America
what if men could be named Mary
what if Britain was Jamaica
what if nothing was scary;
what if water was honey
what if the vulture was the dove
what if sand was money
what if there was no love;
what if we had no mothers
what if light was darkness
what if sisters were brothers
what if there was nothing like kindness;
would we be used to such a ridiculous world?
